The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary is a provincial police service providing policing services to three areas of Newfoundland and Labrador, St. John's, Corner Brook and Labrador West.
The RCMP in Newfoundland and Labrador provide provincial, municipal and First Nation policing to the remainder of the province, in addition to their federal policing role.
There are no independent police agencies in Newfoundland and Labrador.
There is currently no First Nations police agencies in Newfoundland and Labrador. All First Nations policing is provided for by the RCMP.
There are no transit specific police in Newfoundland and Labrador and all incidents relating to transit are the responsibility of the jurisdictional police service.
